I need a 4x80mm Radiator. Does any one make them?

I got a Silverstone SUGO SG01 EVO case( http://www.xoxide.com/silverstone-sugo-sg01-bw.html )and would like to have a quad 80mm radiator above the video card. Current 2x80mm radiators are too thick (46+mm) so I can't use them.

I would like to know if some one can make me a custom 4x80mm radiator with a thickness of 25-30mm? It would be simply awesome to watercool the CPU in there. I'm bit surprised that Falcon did not design one for its FragBox Gaming computers. Silverstone still sells there cases. I guess a lot of people could use such radiators. Even in 2U server cases.

I'm not looking for for xtreme cooling. Just want it to be all internal.

Who should I ask for help?

the only ones i know of are aluminum, so i would look to figure out something else like cut up the side panel on the graphics card side as it looks like it can fit a full size 120x2 or 140x2 slim rad there.

Thats a good idea. let me look into it. I was thinking of modding PSU into 5.25" bay and installing a big heat sink.

Only copper rads i know for 80mm size are GT micro I & II for 1x80 & 2x80 by HWLabs. They are 50mm thick though. So you'd be much better off cutting out larger holes + putting some radgrill & mount normal 120mm fan rads that are available in great thickness variety.

What you have to keep in mind is that when those cases first came out, heat wasn't nearly the problem it is now. You could get by with cooling some components with a single 80mm radiator or at worst two. The temps weren't great, but it was passable. Shuttle was in on this nonsense as well. You were basically paying for liquid cooling just to have liquid cooling, the temp gains weren't all that great.

Fast forward a bit and things are a lot hotter and more complicated than they were. Even with a single 120mm radiator there are situations where you can get better cooling off air. So Falcon, Shuttle, et all have simply stopped bothering with water cooling on cases that only stack 80mm fans. Companies still do sell MATX builds with liquid cooling, but they are based off newer cases that actually have 120mm fans.

If you want to get away with liquid cooling stuff in those old boxes have you though about going with a mobile chipset based build? You can still source MATX or ITX boards that support laptops CPUs at which point you don't need the extra cooling.

120x2 will take up too much room inside the side panel. It would be very close to Video card that must be installed into first PCIe slot for it to work.

I'm thinking of using 120mm radiator in the top 5.25" drive bay. I would need to cut a 120mm hole on the top. Don't really want to mod the exterior of the case I may want to cut a showflake design instead. Is anyone located in Brooklyn NY with a lasercut/CNC machine that can do a good job?

I think i will have about 60-65mm room for the rad and the fan. What single 120mm watercooling kid would you recommend? Corsair's or Antec's? I dont think i have any other choice

what card are going to use, how much thickness do you have, and you could mount it flush on the outside.

and have you seen some of the fans, like the scythe slip stream 12mm http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=27033 or the yate thin 20mm http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=34284. those scythe and an mcr gives you 49mm, or only 37mm with the black ice compact and the scythe. server 40mm fans are normally 36 or 40mm thick so those thin rads with the super slim fans could work.

Magicool also has the same 2 sizes but IIRC, are a bit thinner.

Riska: this thread is about rads for 80mm fans, not 180, which are more then twice bigger

No. You need like 40mm fans for that.

I'm thinking of using XSPC RX120 underneath the drive bays and exhaust hot air from the bottom of the case. I will need to use 20mm thick 120mm fan. Front usb ports may be on the way All the measurements I take in this case, I'm find myself short on 5mm

Is there a really big difference between XSPC RX120 and Swiftech MCR120 for example? With a thin RAD I can use 38mm thick panaflo fan.
