Monitor overclocks? - Other than Catleap

Have you tried to push your monitors, and if so, how far did you manage? Would be most interesting to push plasma displays I think.. 120hz gaming on plasma?

Been playing with my Toshiba XV648 and LG W3000H..

    XV648
    - 1920x1080 @ 61hz. Anything more results in a black screen, not sure why. Need to try enabling "120hz" mode on the monitor to see if that changes anything.

    W3000H
    - 2560x1600 @ 75hz works although I have to use brightness control from the nV control panel.
    - 2560x1600 @ 80hz works but overly bright
    - 2560x1600 @ 85hz loses Aero
    - 2560x1600 @ 87hz shows corruption, 88-90hz result in intermittent black screen and lockups.

Would you care to explain how to do it ? I've lurked around the internet because I was looking for some monitor overclocking myself but I don't seem to stumble upon anything... When I had an nvidia card, if I remember right, it was just simple as creating a custom resolution but with an AMD card I'm clueless...
