usually when running two pumps you will want to make sure you fill up the reservoir when both pumps are full speed. because of the greater suction when using 2 pumps at full speed you should be able to add more liquid in the loop.

we've tested it with 2 pumps and just a tube (no water block or radiator) and we didn't have any problem.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance: (Call or email or forums).

Awesome res and pump combo absolutely love it, put off ordering my parts just so I could get this res. I have an issue though and this is to do with the TJ11 not your res, it does not fit in the front drive bays the opening is only 149mm. So any TJ11 owners looking to buy this res keep in mind you are going to have to trim the front plate to get it to sit flush.

Wow nice work gabe, really have missed seeing your products!Might have to invest in one of these soon !

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I am having a hard time bleeding my loop with the maelstrom

Also guys, make sure you use good quality tubes with slightly thick walls, make sure the tube are connected tightly to the fittings and the fittings tightly to the blocks, the dual pump maelstrom is too powerful

    Hey there
yes the MCP35X2 does push quite a bit of water

A good tip on bleeding Maelstrom with this pump is to make sure both pumps are full speed. Then top off the liquid with both pumps still at full speed. Then tighten the cap with fingers until it's tight and then add another 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a screw driver or large coin. Only THEN adjust your pump speed to your needs. If you are topping off the reservoir with the pumps on a lower speed (or even turned off) the back pressure of the 2 pumps at full speeds will lower the water line to a point where they could actually start sucking air. Making sure it's bled with both pumps at full speed will prevent that!

    Hope that'll help!
    Regards,
    Stephen

    hey there,
you either have a defective unit (possible but unlikely since they're 100% leak tested under pressure), or your cap isn't tight enough (you may want to wet the o-ring to allow for a greater torque on the cap hence compression on the o-ring), or you may have cross threaded the cap into the reservoir (you can easily see if it's been cross threaded by looking at it from the side, if the cap is not parallel to the top of the reservoir then it's cross threaded - it doesn't necessarily mean it's dead just unscrew it and re-tighten it down making sure the cap remains parallel to the top of the reservoir)

    hope that'll help

    Regards,
    Stephen

Cap seems to in right place. It seems like o-ring groove might be little bit too deep, allowing o-ring to sink too low and thus, needing extreme pressure to seal. Or 2x35X pumps at 100% are too much

heres a pic of the unit cap, and yes, it is a little bit tricky to get on right thread.

It looks like it definitely is on correctly. The problem that you're having sounds like it's related to pressure being caused when the unit switches off. This is common and will just require you to ensure that the cap is fully tightened each time you fill the reservoir. I hope this answers your question.

also, wetting the oring before tightening the cap helps in giving a good tight seal (less friction on the oring = more compression with equal torque)
using a tool for the last 1/4 or 1/2 turn really helps

Sorry but I had to dig this from the grave, after owning this product for less than a year now, I am facing a really big issue with it.

1- The temperature digital clock is now totally off, no green light or digits, started only display green light since a month an a half ago and now dead.
2- The 2 pumps are off of sync, there is a deference of about 250 to 300 RPM " is this OK?"

The difference between the pump speeds is perfectly normal and shouldn't have any issues in terms of performance. The temperature monitor on the other hand is another story. Please send me a copy of your invoice for the purchase of this reservoir so that we can look at getting it replaced for you. Just send it to bryan@swiftech.com.
