ANYONE using W8x64 with no lockups freezes or whatever fails ???

    Guys

some month ago i digged deep into the W8x64 RP and was frustrated

lockups, freezes, my disks where written with some file that when i moved back to W7x64 ended destroying my raid

i slowly see new drivers, so far Audio, HD Intel, NVidia but also i still see fixes for lockups like this

    http://www.withinwindows.com/2012/07...eezing-issues/

So who is runing totally OK i mean gamming etc...

    Cheers
    Sergio

most of the lockups i have heard of were from legacy apps/games that had rootkits associated with them. it is not viable to run it for a gaming PC since old GFWL, securom, most of EA on origin, and uplay dose not work. VAC and warden have also been kicking some people but i do not know of any bans.

    Heh, funny.
Im saying crap with new hardware, it has many bugs as software, written for newst hardvare.
Besides im buying stuff that had no bugs, kind of hardware ppl dont complain on certain hardware.

At Least try with windows power settings

Edit your idle cpu usage to 100%
    and
    max power usage 100%.
That way your windows will not interfere your cpu and hardware.

As last stand weapon for bugs get io memory map of your hardvare.., program/edits PCI Configration Register.

Ive been running 8 on my main tech station at work since CP. Its an older 775s with a dual core 5200. gets random video cards, etc hooked up frequently and i havnt had any problems other than some old x1600 drivers that got fixed with Release Preview.
