Why so much smoke ??, prewarmer not worky ??

The more fuel the more smoke.Looks as if you got it cranked up pretty good. Its nice to see a non electronic engine puffing out smoke like that.

Not sure if it's the camera, but it sounds like your turbo bearings might be a bit shot. Might explain the continuous smoking although I'm sure the lack of a good aftercooler on those early 6BTs isn't helping either.

Smoke is due to the VE fuel pump being maxed out, only "pre-warmer" this thing has is a grid heater for the winter.
Could be the bearings, but there's no shaft play and its been sounding like that for a long time. Smoke is just due to too much fuel for the turbo to compensate forNo intercooler on this truck at all.
welded the rear diff today, got the front 90% sealed to keep water/mud out of the engine bay. Just gotta finish that up then put some limiting chains/straps on the front axle and its good to go, unless I weld the front diff too that is..

Today in Cardston.. second run in 2wd due to breakage in run 1 (run 1 was FAST!). Nobody seems to have taken video of run 1
