Someone can help me install AISuite 2?I get can;t open ASIO.sys(2)!!.I have latest ME,drivers and chipset,framework etc.No other asus software installed.,latest AISUITE from asus site....

Have you performed any kind of registry changes or "clean"?


List all system components and please list how you performed the installation so that our guy at HQ can replicate. Include UEFI version used also and any other drivers.

Maximus 5 Gene,3570K,2x4 samsung ddr3,intel 330 180 gb ssd,amd HD7770.I installed chipset drivers,then ME 8.0,then sound ,network,vga,then i updated ME from 8.0 to 8.1.

Have to mention that with previous AISUITE II 10227 install would start then exit,tried with patcher,no good.Now with 10229 gives me this error ...

Hmm, the fact the previous install dorked might be the problem. You may have to install Windows again unless you have a system restore image previous to the patcher that you can roll back to. Also, keep the system at stock settings throughout the install process (that includes keeping DRAM speed low). I have found that sometimes users don't have Windows activated when they try to install AI Suite and that can be an issue which creates the need to run the patch.

Meanwhile i know u had some samsung lo-vo sticks,i saw in pictures week 47/11,same as mine.How much did they worked,i mean what setting did you used at 2400,2600 and voltage?Thanks.

I was trying to run 4 ssd on the asmedia sata ports in Raid 0, but realise they won't work. I have now put 2 in the intel ports and 2 in the asmedia ports. I want to run the 2 in the intel ports in raid 0 and use as my primary OS. I have set the drives to raid through bios and removed the full screen logo. The intel raid screen doesn't pop up and all and i dont know why?

Also, once i manage to get RAID working, do i go about installing the OS the normal way?

I'm guessing i need to download the Intel RST Driver located here:

Which one do i download. Does it work if i can install before OS installation and which one do i download? I'm guessing i put it on USB? How would i actually install it?

Anyone know what the problem is? The intel raid menu still doesnt appear. My board is stuck on AO. I am currently using the ssd from my old system just so i can log on. Any help is greatly appreciated, as this is really annoying me now.

Kessian only thing u have to keep in mind that you CANT mix controllers to make RAID, i mean 2 on ASMEDIA + 2 on INTEL WONT work, 2 on intel yes, 2 on ASMEDIA yes...i really dont know what the problem is, once u made the raid with CTRL + I you should see the POST screen indicanting the RAID and members of it...

Hi Kessin,

The MVE and MVF boot very fast so i was not even seeing the raid management screen.... I pressed CTRL+I repeatedly during post and got into it.

unfortunately these boards are just getting too fast

but if it booted slower to see it then some would complain why does it take so long.... its a Catch 22

then go to BOOT in bios and set POST to be at 5 seconds or so...mine is 0 so as the mate above says it goes like bullet...

Ok post was already set to 5 seconds. Nothing appears when I press control I. If I set boot to ssd then it just goes to bootmgr missing. If I boot from asus motherboard disk it tries to create bootable floppy. I don't understand why it's not working... all ssd have no data on them. Have I missed installing something?

4 x 2GB ??? i dont think its a good idea...did you try 2x2 on the red slots ???

55 is not good sign at all means problem with memory, IMC etc

Till now I see wacky voltages of 1.3 VCSSA and co popping up...

I assume he has the 8Gb kit with 2 x 4GB dimms ( can't find a 4 x 2GB version ) 11-11-11-31 2T set 1.65Vdimm

1) Pull out the CPU, reinsert and remount the cooler ( do not overtighten) then do a CMOS RESET. So the board will boot 100% with default values.
2) Then like Dumo suggested man boot with maybe one dimm first and load the XMP profile instead of maybe the wrong RAM preset.
3) If that boots fine at 2133, insert 2nd dimm. Verify the tRSSR and tWWSR values, maybe force them to 5 for added stability.

PLZ don't feed your CPU with 1.3VCSSA that's insane. Leave them options on auto ( so the XMP profile with set them accordingly ) Also I see no need if this is not for LN2 benching, why you would put Extreme Overvoltage to enabled...

Do i have to have an OS installed on one of the ssd's first? So far nothing i have tried has worked and this is really getting annoying. Should i just have the 2 ssd's plugged and in unplug the other 2?
