btw, I'm uploading these pictures since, work has the fastest upload vs home....so I'm just uploading like crazy!
anyhoo, if there are pictures that are too fuzy to be taking up space, let me know, and I'll delete it.
my aging sight could really use some help

btw, these are one of the Whale Sharks....I believe there were 3 of them. At this point I really regret not getting a wide lens and all-in-one so I don't have to switch... I believe I was using just my prime lens

Your pics seems fine. There isnt much one can do for this kind of photografy, unless you want to bring your own lights or use flash. Or buying fast lens and camera capable of very high ISO.

Tho maybe having something like cheapo 35mm f1.8 might help, even tho its bit short (50mm f1.4 perhaps?).

it was butts-to-belly tight in aquarium... no room for tripods or flashes... as a matter of fact, I hated that lots of people were using their flash, causing lights on the glass tank to reflect. There was a guy in there with a D90+kit lens who was using the flash, and I asked, is that doing him any good. He showed me the pics and all of it were reflection of the glass, none of the fishes were in his pictures.

As a matter of fact, he was shooting Portrait mode/ or Auto I think.

I suggested using another setting and no flash, and he then eventually had good pics

Hm I guess that lights would have same problem. I dont use flash at all except as fill light. Then it leaves just faster lens..
