    9Ghz AMD real?

    I saw this today and was mildly impressed, is it real?

    No, it's not real Charles, it's a CPU-Z bug in version 1.60 and 1.61 as far as I know. You can find some more info here.

    No, the validation Charles posted was made by a different user, the one you're referring to was made by ksin and it's this one.

    This is how it worked for me:

    Open CPU-Z 1.61, everythings fine, 7 GHz > run 32M > check after, 9.2 GHz wtf? > open 1.59, all is well in that one

    CPU-Z bug...

    With me it was:

    Turn up the multi with pscheck, apply P0 settings, multi went up, but FSB went up too.

    The real FSB in the submission was 200mhz, so the actual frequency was 5700mhz. I only posted that sub to show that we were getting some very bugged runs with CPUz 1.60 and also 1.61.
