Usefulness of a 2nd video card

    I recently upgraded my SLi's GTX285's to a 680.

After I gave one of the cards to a friend to replace an old one I was left with a single GTX285. Other than using it as a dedicated physix card for the few games that support it is there any other benefit to keeping it? Also I run a dual monitor setup, both are plugged into the 680 now, I game with only a single monitor, is there an optimal setup for what monitor gets plugged into what port/card?

not sure that the few games that support physx would even cause a hiccup to the 680 if you ran everything on 1 card. best to try yourself and see. although, honestly, i didn't notice physx slowing down my 580 any. then again the 680 is quite a diff beast than the 580 for that sort of thing.
