The 360GB and 480GB versions are slower??? plus 2x 240GB is 9$ less than the 480GB...
noticed this as well...Wouldn't 240x2 in raid be better than 480 in all circumstances then? (ignoring 2xfailure rate )

raid = no trim, so you'd rely on gc, not sure how good that is with this particular ssd though.
Failure rate isn't all too relevant if you frequently back up your data.
Speaking of which.........has anyone any news as to when trim support for raid is coming out.......was talk of it earlier this year.

nope, they just support it when the ssd is not involved in the raid array but other drives connected to the same controller are, like for example if you got two normal harddisks connected to the intel sata controller in raid and then you connect a ssd to the same controller but its not in the raid array the ssd can still get trim, but not if the ssd is part of the raid array.
