    TEC Cooled Phase Change Conderser

Would it work to cool partly my Phase Change Units Condenser with TECs?
Where i would put them is at the top of Condenser.

It will be really hot in here at summer and i would like to keap my Phase Change unit bit more quieter and that would require to ramp my PhaseChange units fans down litlebit what would in turn cause higer temperatures.
There allready is some noise dampening material at the sidepanels of LD's Phase Change unit i have in here.

I can stand the sound of compressor but fans need be put to full at middle of summer and they create hell of a noise.

No, you'd simply dump even more heat in to your room.

with a TEC you still need to cool a hot side, so your not going to eliminate the heat from your room just add to it. I guess really only thing you could do, but would require modding is watercool your phase unit and have the radiator outside but that is extreme.

I don't think he was talking about the heat in his room guys, I think he was talking about the temperature the SS can hold when in a hot ambient temperature, and that he doesn't want to ramp the fans up to keep temp.

The problem I see is that the TEC also requires a fan to cool it's hot side. Also TEC's are very inefficient, so it would take a rather large array to do any appreciable cooling. At any rate, I don't think this will accomplish what he is after, which is less fan noise.

Perhaps a better solution would be to water cool it, thereby placing your fan and evaporative cooling tower outside or in another room. These are quite easy to DIY.

    We have a winner!
But I don't think he has the tools or refrigerant to rebuild with a water condenser sadly.

I was considering putting one or two 20-30watt Tec's to top of the Condenser, i dont really care if my room temp gets higer long as Phase Change runs litlebit lower temps doring summer.
20-30watt's should be easy enough to cool but do they provide sufficient cooling power to lower temps of Condenser enough, i got several old copper and aluminium heatsinks here that are good size for this use.

Another way to cool the tecs would be get two single tec waterblocks and cool the tecs with same EK 480 rad that cools graphics cards, just add few blocks to the loop.

Yeah i dont have the tools or refirigerant to rebuild and refill the unit, if i had then it would be allready done.
