    LED Wiring Help Needed

    Hey all,

I picked up a strip LED kit from PPA. http://ppa-usa.com/led-products/olshargb.html

Its pretty pimp. I'd like to wire it up to a molex connection. Can that be done by using the wiring it up to the 12V connections on the molex? Check out the above link to see the specs and provided power supply. I believe it can be wired up to a 12 V connection but looking for some verification.

    Thanks!

well none of the doc's show the power supply specs. however it is very likely to be 12v dc. If it is 12v or 5v dc your good! if its not then you will need to convert your 12v dc pc voltage to whatever the lights need. If its say 9v dc and less that 1amp then you could use a linear voltage regulator such as the lm7809.
