I'm pretty sure the CPU is dead...my 57x 2600K.
System is made up of a MIVE + 2600K, 850w PSU which is good, and I've tried various ram between 4 sticks of PSC in different slots and 3 sticks of Hyper in different slots as well as 3 different GPUs. This isn't in a case either, it is on a motherboard box.
When I cold boot, it turns on then right off, then turns on again, but the post code usually hangs on 10. I'm getting other codes too (0A, 04 etc off the top of my head) every time I push the reset button, but nothing has booted yet.
This was a previously working setup, it stopped working on dry ice at conservative settings (1.6v @ -40c), now it seems my worst fears were realized.
Either I am out $380 (maybe I can persuade intel for RMA, but this CPU was bought from Hong Kong) or I am missing something...
In the worst case, if someone would be willing, I would pay postage to send the CPU to you (in the US) to try the CPU in your board...I don't have an extra board here to rule that out.
