    Just got the GENE Z 5 and i want to know something about RAIDO

    Guys

    just got this baby and i have set a RAID0 of SSD of 2 and a RAID0 of 3 HDD on the MIVE

    how i do this on the MIVE as it only has 2 sata 6 2 sata 3 to the intel bridge and rest are other controllers i will have a disk of the HDD raid0 on the other controller ?

    the question is i will have to re do the raid of 3 HDD ?

    why am i seeing 2xsata6 and 4xsata3 on the intel controller, with the esata on the jmicron? sounds like it will be fine

    Connect 2 SSD to the middle two red ports, connect CDROM to the black port. The lower two red 6G ports are on slower jmicron controller.

    Go into bios, SATA configuration and set it for RAID and reboot.

    Be ready to press CTRL-I and go into RAID bios to select raid level and size.

    You cannot connect more than 2 SSD in raid since you only have 2 ports on each controller.

    2x SSD can reach 1GB/s read in RAID 0 and double your disk space.

    thanks fugger i did that i went only for raid0 of 2 SSD and 2 HDD
