    G.SKILL TridentX + Maximus V Formula Z77 Strongest COMBO ... 3000 SuperPi 32m AIR

    Hey guys
Got the mobo and memories and started to test them, this combo seems the best for ivyBridge CPUs and Z77 Platform, the G.SKILL TridentX 2666CL11
Could do easy +3.0GHz under SingleStage -20 degrees, the Maximus V Formula is simply AWESOME and Stable board, first time i tried this board at Computex 2012 and the board was stable with 2KG Ice close the memories and cpu and VGA never shutdown never hot any problem with it.

With the right CPU this combo fly over 3.0GHz memories easy even on air cooling
here are some results with latest Bios 0502... check it out....

    2666 9-12-12-21

    2666 9-12-11-21

    2666 10-12-11-25 Extra tight timing

2933 11-13-13-35 mmmm seems IMC is good lets try higher with higher VCCSA and VCCIO

3000 11-13-13-35 SuperPI 32m my dream comes true

    lets go higher

    3020 11-13-13-35 Pi8m

    3040 11-13-13-35 you know i hate 1m

    3010 11-13-13-35 Pi8m quick video

sure +2.0Volt could be possible, no worries about vtt voltages on Ivy u can go over 1.35 on air without any problem, and high vdimm don't stress IMC anymore like old platforms.

Impressive, as soon as I have backup for my cpu I might try the 2933, being usually conservative with voltages, I only tried 1,15 vccio and 1,10 VCCSA on my 3570K and Gene5, brought my trident x at least to 1400 10-12-12-32 at 1,73v 32M. I would love to see the 2933 as well - to quote Oliver, keep on pushing it

P.S. As talk is cheap, here is screen

your IMC is very similar to mine, try higher voltages hope u can get 2933 stable with it.
but some CPUs i tried have the limit with voltage and with IMC MHz, i had chip couldn't go higher than 1.28 VTT or could do 2900 1.25 vtt but not higher even at 1.35.

BTW some CPU need to be HOT to go high memory.
    example:
    2800 25 degrees
2900 30 degrees wasn't stable but 50 degrees was stable
