    JBOD array

I know this isn't extreme, but does anyone know how to go about setting up a JBOD array on an MSI 785GM-P45 board (785G/SB710 chipset)?

I've never settup one of these arrays, but I have 2 Seagate 1.5tb (matching drives) and I'd rather have the system see them as a single 3Tb drive...

If I could save the data currently on one of the drives that would be awesome, but not necessary.

I know I sound like a noob, but any info would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Dave

I never used the JBOD setting, but maybe this will give you some more info: http://www.pcguide.com/ref/hdd/perf/...ls/jbod-c.html

I don't know if you can still see your data after setting up the JBOD, but I would back up the data before you try.
