If people in prisons hear the kind of things he did, and considering he is not a hardened tough guy, he will either have to be put in isolation for the rest of his life or he will learn a lesson quickly and repeatedly there.

What will be interesting now that one of his kids is ready to testify is what will come out about his wife.

She had to know this stuff was going on, how the heck does a person live with that, year after year?

He is going to a state facility so I can't comment truly accurately on their populations, but as a Senior Officer with the federal BoP I can say there are 50+ guys in for similar but much worse offenses in basically all institutions. Just because this one was on TV won't change the fact that he is a small fry in the "sick bastard" collection. Some young/newly committed inmate might try something to "make a name" for themself early in his sentence but his reputation bounty won't be worth much for very long.

Unfortunately guys with his severity of offense (albeit not with as many charges) are a dime a dozen, it's the real graphic cases that face the retribution at the hands of their peers behind bars.

You don't want to hear the details of cases that get a guy into protective custody for more than a few days in fed joints.

Unles ofcourse they get him into a special jail cause he is famous or whatever.

I know its a completely diffrent crime but when i saw the pictures of the jail they put Madoff in i became sad (stil hoping they arent real).

Madoff is in Butner Medium I which is no walk in the park. Not sure if he is in their SHU or not, I have friends that work at the complex though so I can ask.
