In my opinion it doesn't matter which kit you buy, by now both kits should be using the same PCB and ICs, the only difference is the heatspreader and maybe little differences in the SPD programming. Ripjaws-Z are targeted at S2011 customers, but it shouldn't matter much. Buy the kit you find aesthetically pleasing!

Those tridentx 2400 are probably single sided like the dual channel kit. I would most definitely go for the Ripjaws-Z instead.

    Hi,

i am not sure if i just made a mistake... Ripjaws are not available here in TH but the F3-2400C10Q-16GTX are. So i ordered those together with a P9X79 (3930 CPU). Now i see that it is 'optimized' for Z77...

Like Don_Dan mentioned it shouldn't really matter ? This topic isn't new, maybe someone tried it in the meantime. Please let me know if i should cancel the order :-).

edit: it's the quad channel 4x4 GB kit
