If you check out NewEgg's listing for the 4x4GB 1866C9 kit and zoom in on the pic with the label side visible, you'll see Ver8.16 which means Corsair is using Nanya on some of them.
The Newegg pic of the 2x4GB kit shows v4.13, which would be Samsung and consistent with what stasio just posted.

NewEgg takes its own pictures of items rather than using stock photos. That's proof that at least some of the 4x4GB 1866C9 stuff is Nanya. I'm not saying all of it is, but it looks like the usual Corsair IC lottery when ordering online.

2666 kit arrived, will post some piccies later today and maybe some early results...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

K popped the first two dimms in, 2800 C11-13-13 1.675Vdimm, no problem for 32M on the Gene V

    IMG_4110.jpg IMG_4121.jpg IMG_4122.jpg

Tightening to 11-13-12 needed voltage raise to 1.69 -- 2800C11-12-12 not stable at 1.735Vdimm (prolly needs moar volts), but not gonna pump volts before I tested the kit for the article...

    Thanks for that teaser...

Looks like perhaps there's an alternative to the G.Skills now.

The 2400s are at the egg.

I better directly test them on the X79 ?

    2400C9-11-11-28 1T 1.625Vdimm HyperPI32m stable (I haven't tried lower)

    2400c9X79.jpg

2450C9-11-11-28 1T 1.65Vdimm --> 103Bclock with 2474Mhz ram locked up around loop 5, maybe more volts, but the IMC of this 3960X ES ain't stellar
