Doubt 2600 will happen without pushing more volts then I want to. 1.65V isnt enough for 2400Mhz 10-12-12. Im sure some kits could do it (since some HCH9 does), but this one cant.

This is really weird. 2200Mhz 9-11-11 is fully stable with LinX AVX all memory and Memtest HCI 300%+, but I get not exact in round about half way through 32m
Anyway, for comparison to the 8m shots above, here is 2200Mhz tight as possible 1.6V, and my new daily settings.
    Asrock Z77 2200 C9 Platinums Tweaked.JPG

Ram slots are so close and these spreaders are so big, they litterly touch. So no airflow between them. Dont really want or see the need to run higher voltage then that for daily.

Also, remember that this is an mITX board, laking many timing options, and who knows how stable the voltage is. Plus I never got to test this CPU's IMC on the UD5H, so I dont want to say for sure its the ram thats holding it back.

Cecil try 100.1 or 99.9 bclk to see if that round error goes away . Dont have Ivy but my Sandy does the same thing pushing cpu and mem hard. 100bclk gives occaisional prime errors whereas 100.1 and 99.9 are rock solid. No promises, worth a shot though.

OMG you are such a good overclocker I'm sure you will get a kit.

Both 23 and 55 can be; Motherboard, IMC, RAM.

Most likely 23 is the point of which IMC stops working, but 55 is certainly not = ram, I suggest you try a bit more HW

    Or;
Are you suggesting GTX3 cannot do DDR3-2600, at 1.83v w. Corsair T30 humidity control disabled = full throttle. Because I expect DDR3-2800 with ease
Marc, before you make a post like that I suggest you test some more hardware yourself. I have tested more Ivy Bridge CPUs, Z77 motherboards, and kits of memory on Z77+Ivy Bridge than you will probably see in a life time.

    23 = IMC
55 = Module can't run it or timings/subtimings need to be tweaked

First off, yes, I do believe you've tested more, too bad you are not capable of learning anything from it.

You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?
First mobo; All timings set manually; DDR3-2600 -> Boot
Second mobo; All timings identical; DDR3-2600 -> 55

You need a video too before you believen simple facts?

    - How about this, if you are so sure, put a kit on the line here, lets increase the stakes... After all, I am going to waste up to 20 min of my time to prove a simple point.
On the other hand, if I am mistaking, and you are right, I will decline which ever samples Corsair would send me, for the next 2 years.

Imo, "55" can be lot of things that went wrong..mem settings, rams need more v or mem too cold whereas "23" most likely the end of your cpu's imc scale up...on air @ least.

Its like "E0" or "AE" on post code reader when I try to boot my crappy 2600K @ 58X...Its absolute no if and no but

Does it run 32M with tRRD and tRTSR set to 5 ?
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Honestly these don't seem any better than my Vengeance Red 2133 C11 kit with HCH9 sticks, I hope you didn't pay too much for them.

the only mobo gives 23 error if mem set wrong is evga even at 2400 with the cpu can do +2900, but that's Bios
    GBT boards give 51 error
ASUS and MSI boards 55 error when set wrong etc and 23 IMC limit

    Be quiet HIWA
you are going to cost me, I am still up for the bet, hehe...

Jokes aside, 51 is mainly due BIOS issues with Gigabyte, the BIOS' sure wasnt mature for Z77-range launch, but ASRock equally had BIOS issues, and officially still have, however a certain overclocker is working on correcting it

My point is simply, that '55' (and also '51') does not mean that your ram are giving up, it can be many other things.

Anyone know where one can buy Corsair Platinum....plenty of places advertising them, but they are all out of stock.
Amazon is doing the sneaky......"ships in two to four weeks"...while most others are simply saying "Out of Stock"
I'm after some low end namely a CMD16GX3M2A1600C9 kit.

Too bad Corsair doesn't sell the higher binned versions in 8GB ( 2 x 4GB) config, looking forward to the 2666C10 kit... I'll need your Help Marc soon

    AND...IT...GOT...WORSE

If you check out NewEgg's listing for the 4x4GB 1866C9 kit and zoom in on the pic with the label side visible, you'll see Ver8.16 which means Corsair is using Nanya on some of them.

Who says that neweggs pics are accurate ? I would await user reviews to see how and what we got under the hood not ? Only thing Corsair and other brands warrants are the rated speeds, Ocing headroom is not...
