ASUS Maximus V Formula z77 Motherboard sneak peek

Good for watercooling (cleanin DOW corning 4 off after benching some mem on ln2)

    Great for Ln2
Feature 8+4Pin CPU power and strong PWM

All kidding aside, this is the motherboard to have at the moment. If you are thinking ivy and haven't jumped in yet I suggest picking one of these up around the end of the month.
    Dissapointed you wont be.

    Here are some results:

(on the edge here, barely got screen before windows timer shut me down lol)

(IMC is very weak on my best chip and does not like over 2400 at all)

    Conclusion:
Another home run from ASUS, board is heavy and solid in your hands and that same attitude rolls over to its stability electronically.
Gained a solid 50mhz over my gene, not saying everyone will see that but it was my case. Dram Offset control in bios allowed my bbse sticks that were failing at 4th iteration to complete 32m it is worth taking your time and finding the right combination that works for your sticks.

Now just waiting for a nicer ivy to fall into my lap lol

Looks like another new beast from Asus. This company always manage to gain my respect. Pity that my financial situation doesn't allow me to plan for a nice upgrade right now.

Just after I bought the gene :/

Can't go wrong with Asus especially with the top quality help they employ for their board development. Top notch.

I see this board occupying my chip soon!

Well, Formulas were never under 300 euros, but more likely it will start with 350.

Nice, what is its price? Is it worth spending over Gene?
