    Type-K probes question

    I've been reading around, and I think you can get temps off a probe with just a regular meter. $10 probe, no $100 fluke clamp and then $100 meter too.


    Measuring milivolts, anyone have a good table I can use? Or better yet, a mathmatical formula. Like, mV x (whatever number) = degrees?

    I found this table, but what is the top row 0-10 and the resulting colums for? Why not just one?
