    Thanks a lot, I just got W8 downloaded.

    Those are some interesting results, looks like W7 is still very good and even beats W8 quite a bit.

    Although the different SSD's might have played a part in that.

    Win8 is actually faster by the benchmarks but not in all benchmarks.

    Graphics performance is better in Windows 7.
    CPU, Memory and Disk performance is better in Windows 8.

    Ofc that can change when you use real applications and not PassMark and we need wait better drivers and Windows 8 fixes to come and then we can check real performance of Windows 8 since most benchmarks i tested wont work in Windows 8 due it will lock my Windows 8 RP installation.
