    Noise Cancelling PC fan

    Good morning everyone!

Here is a piece of news I feel would hit close to home.

    http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/30/n...elling-pc-fan/

Noctua, a country in Austria, is working on technology to make PC fans near silent.

Sounds like <s>music</s> nothing to my ears

Will be interesting to see what they manage this time. I don't mind their fans but I replaced them with Gentle typhoons and they have a cleaner sound signature than the noctuas and tend to be quieter at the same rpm while providing slightly better airflow.

Hopefully these have decent static preasure.

My apologies. Since it was just posted on Engadget, I thought it hadn't been posted.
