Best to get a great block even if it means a little delay.

Absolutely. My only concern is what they plan to do with the two memory vrms located on the far right of the PCB located about halfway between the power connectors. The original block shown does not seem to cover these vrms at all so has me wondering if they are going to be forced to include heat sinks for them which would seem to be something they would hate to have to do. Maybe they will extend a copper leg off of the block base so as to be passively cooled by the block itself.

@jomama22: Yes, this is one of things addressed. It's a huge block and new clamping tool has to be made. Very soon, I promise!

This is why I love this hobby. There is always something to look forward to (my ADD needs to be satisfied somehow!) And the tight knit community that is a pleasure to be a part of. Thanks for the update tiborrr

Only one side but will most likely include the fc link piece so to point the holes upwards.

Might steal some of Niko's thunder but I must post:

Pure sex! I think this might be the largest single GPU card block I've ever seen.

    Jaw just hit ground.

I am very happy you decided to just cover the whole damn PCB lol. Must weigh a ton and be the size of a child's cricket bat.

Please don't start that crap in this thread. There is already a thread made to voice your opinion on the EK CSQ design aesthetics.

    ...and IIRC, it's been locked.

Besides, it's just my opinion. . .your not afraid of listening to other opinions?...are you?

It's locked for a reason. It's called beating a dead horse to death. We all know how circles are the end of the world, right?

    Hiya,

Firstly who really cares about circles? As long as the block cools my card well. That's all that matters. And anyhow... I won't even see the top of the card as it will be at the underside of the card.
So I'm happy with the aesthetics. Looks bang on!

Would also like to see more pics of the underside and the flow area if at all possible

Great job from what I can see thus far
