    Rampage IV Extreme + 2400Mhz Memory

    I've got an 3930K (Batch:3153A418) Asus Rampage IV Extreme (Bios:1305) with 32GB (4x8GB) G-Skill TridentX 2400Mhz Quad Channel Kit 1.65v

    I have been advised to change a few settings in order to see if my CPU is capable of running the full 2400Mhz speed on SB-E:-

    The settings reccommended are CPU VCCSA 1.25v and VTTCPU 1.25v

    Before, when selecting an XMP profile my system would not boot and would shut itself off after saving the Bios settings. Changing these settings has enabled me to boot successfully with memory running full the 2400Mhz. Because i'm somewhat a paranoid individual, are there any Rampage experts that confirm these settings are indeed correct or better still safe?

    Only way to know really is to run some stress tests and check for stability. Some others will have to chime in on what the recommended programs are for doing so as I'm a bit behind with Sandy Bridge.
