    yeah, but they've also had years upon years to work on this. and the only reason it sold so many copies was because of the reputation d2 had, riding off their coat tails, but they act as if it sold so well because they did it. there's a lot of content they demo'd before release that never made it into the game, assuming they're saving that for an expansion pack *shrugs*

    theres alot of things we dont like about the game. but when your job is one very small aspect of it, you may not see the whole picture until its nearly complete. you have to trust in the project managers to know how things interact and how end users will feel about it. also most development efforts probably go into visuals, which look quite nice. the guy who thought that items should exist forever was the idiot, and it takes only an hour to change that around, but then what happens to the world? do things automatically get better with that one fix or will it make an even bigger problem? balancing the economy is very complex, but making a change to it would probably be very easy. so they have to watch what they touch.

    so are we mad at the 100 guys who are putting pvp together, or the 1 guy who said its not a top priority and made them work on legendary graphics instead?

    its better to know exactly who your mad at and why, than to blame anyone whos on blizz payroll for any reason you want.

    Obviously the people who were deep enough in the dev team to know the core mechanics and "players" are the ones that will be the target.. the goofs behind the economy portion are laughing all the way to the bank.

    Graphic artsist just make things look pretty and thats all that can be expected of them.

    diablo 3 took 2.5 months and 52 hours of game play and it is over for me. last month just logedon 3 times for 5 mins. this is the worst diablo blizzard can actually developed.


    When i'm being paid i always do my job through.
