GTX 670 Power limit and voltage increase

    Hey all

does anyone know if there is a way to increase the power limit on the 670 cards ?

I have a gigabyte 670 windforce and the power limit is 111%, I have seen other 670's hitting 122%, was also wondering if it was possible to increase the voltage as well.

    Thanks in advance

You could try flashing a different bios.

There is no chance to increase power limit now.You have to stick with 111%.Any way even 122% won't help you with better clocks
I have Asus DCU II with 122% and max stable clocks are 1306 MHz

Nvidia doesn't want to let you control your 600 series card's voltage. That would result in unscrupulous 1400mhz overclocks. There are ways to bypass power limit and voltage limit with mod tho, just not soft.

The gigabyte has a 6 and 8 pin so thats why it has a lower power limit than the dual 6 pin cards. Honestly your not going to be limited by power delivery at stock voltage.

I have not seen a single OCed 670 that exceeds %100 TDP.

Also, Precision X can currently bump voltages to 1.175V. Its not much of an increase, but it was enough to bring my WCed Gigabyte card from 1305 to 1335 stable.
