    ihog6hog,

Thanks for that pic. I would say that #0002 does in fact qualify as a new lot. Wonder who got #0001?

That's interesting about that kit using the BCH9 ICs. XBrytanX got a generic kit back in August with those same chips...see his post #91 in this thread. His were week 219. We have GSkill using HYK0 and now Team using BCH9. Wonder who else has these under the hood.

Hey back at ya. Are you asking about the generic BCH9s, or the Team kit?

The generics used to be available at Superbiiz, but they're OOS at the moment, and have been for a little while, so I'm not sure if / when they will restock.

Don't know about the Team kit, haven't gotten around to looking for a vendor that has them in stock, except at the Egg, and they didn't have it.

MemoryC has the Team 2600C10, but I doubt you'll want to order them from there: http://www.memoryc.com/computermemor...0800-ddr3.html

Thanks for the link. I wasn't planning on ordering any, and after seeing the asking price, I haven't changed my mind.

MemoryC seems to be well stocked but for me the US is more convenient, local pricing is 3x the Egg price and the euro exchange rates are worse than the dollar's...
Thanks though I'll keep my eyes open.

I did not want to end my ddr3 adventures without some generics, but took 1600 c11 as they were cheaper
    week 36/12
    Kit 1

    Kit2

Voltage scaling is better than I thought, PCB and ICs show good quality - as I only took these four sticks, the results are quite impressive, at least for me

Your part number ends in "CK0" therefore these are HYK0 parts, right?. Are these the same as what you bought?

    https://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=D3-4G1600S

The week 3712 parts are what has been showing up in the GSkill DDR3-2400 C9 and DDR3-2666 C10 kits, so yours are very similar.

    They clock real well, too.

No, these are HCK0, the K0 is the bin (1600 C11), the Y at HYK0 is for low power 1,35v, these are normal 1,5v 1600c11 binned ics/mems, because of this is HCK0. the C stands for 1,5v rating - these are no low power chips, but same as HCH9 D 2Gbit revision, only that HCH9 are binned for 1333c9

Well, I'm confused (Edit: well, I was, but now it is all clear )

Per your CPU-Z shot, the parts number in the SPD tab shows up as M378B5273DH0-CK0. The link to the part at Superbiiz that I included is for that same parts number, yet when I ordered some of those sticks back in December (when they were in stock) I received HYK0 ICs (week 1237). The sticks that I received (see link) are also C11 and 1.5v, yet they carry HYK0 ICs...so I thought.

Went back and looked at them again and they are in fact just like yours...HCK0, not HYK0 like I thought they were.

I don't know how in the world I missed it. Dang these old eyes are really starting to fail me.

My sticks are easily running 2400 C10 on an X79/3930K combo. Haven't had a chance to test them on Z77 yet.

Has anyone retested these on Haswell? It will be interesting to see how the new imc helps these.

Samsung clocks almost exactly the same on Haswell as on Ivy, extra IMC capabilities yield almost nothing for OEM Samsung since it's difficult to get above 1450 anyway.

So its a binning limitation of the low end rams rather than a cpu limitation? Im curious as to what the next closet performance rams will be ... someone will stumble upon a generic ram stick with MFR chips ...

Guys, I have two Haswell motherboards and neither of them will POST with HCH9 installed, any ideas why?

lol I finally got mine running but I found the following:

1 of four sticks will run in any of four slots
2 others will run in centre two only and the last wont run in any slot ....

Priming now at an easy 2600c12 with two sticks, just for starters.

Edit: After some Pi, BF3 and maxxmem playtime, plus priming, I found my rams seem to like 2666-11-13-13-35-180-1T 1.675v. If I try c10 I get reboot loop, same for c11 or c12 2800, even up to 1.75v. So its fine tweaking from here.

At 2666c11 I found that maxxmem mem-copy is reading much lower than my TridentX at the same timings (20000MB/s vs 33000MB/s) but read and write seem ok, what would cause this and what does it mean?
