No kidding. Where can I buy some of that dust? (pixie dust, that is, not any other type...I'm too old for any other types)

Part of it is an Ivy chip with imc capable to scale 2700+ on air at least.

I was more referring to the SB-E results, 1200MHz 9-11-11 with 1.64v. I don't have a single stick with Samsung ICs that can do that and he found EIGHT.

That could hold some truth indeed. It is likely that the sticks i got were just not very good. If you look at the sheet i attached in post 63 you can see C0 means a higher speed bin (1600) at cas 11 so those are more likely to hit higher frequencies.

No overclocking garantee by Samsung of course. Glad i can return the sticks, maybe i can confirm HCH9 being better for overclocking then.

Tried the sticks individual but non booted at 2600 cas 10 or 11.

If you see them, skip 'm.
You noticed the chips you have are C revision while to ones to look for, no matter if HCH9 or HYK0, are D revision?

I'm surprised you were able to run them at 1200 MHz, that's not too bad.

    32M @ 1200MHz 9-12-12, not bad at all for a value kit!

Using Gene V and mem in second slot closest to cpu

Hmmm... Doesn't seem to like too tight tRCD and tRP. DDR2666 isn't too bad though.

I'm curious...how about a pic of the label?

    DDR2666 isn't too bad though.
Not at all...and especially if the price was right.

These are the sticks i got in return for the HCK0 sticks i initially got. Still no HCH9 but a little better than the HCK0 ones.(C die, remember?) The difference is in the tRCD and tRP settings. And yes, these are double sided 4GB Generic Samsung sticks. These sticks are around €21-23 a piece here so i think you will be able to get the for the same price in dollars.

DDR2400 9-12-12-25 was stable as well btw.

But what model number, etc. is on the module's label? I might want to get some of these as well, and need to know which model number is carrying those ICs.

You posted a pic of the IC, but could you also post a pic of the label?
