I don't know why but on BBSE 8-10-7 is faster than 7-10-7 and your screenshot proves it as well.
Same for hypers, 7-8-7 is slower than 8-8-8

I was always wondering what the hell was underneath this kit. I finally took a hairdryer tonight and took one of the sides off. What the hell is BBASE?

nevermind. I guess they are called MGH-E. No wonder they suck.

its not that man its just not BBSE. Nor have I ever owned a kit of BBSE. I was hoping to pull something crazy out but this kit is nothing close to my PSC kit. I honestly dont even know where to start with this kit. I read some threads but I dont see anyone doing anything special on these. Unless i'm missing something. I'm currently pulling my hair out trying to make a stripped Spi os using nlite to integrate the MVG drivers. After 4 iso burns I still keep BSOD on the install. I probably wouldnt stand a chance anyway with you guys posting sub 6.30 32m runs. Its killing me. All I can do is tell you all how incredible your 32m runs (all of you) its fricken amazing!

screen shot it took got corrupted somehow... i might have 2nd copy on the hard drive that isnt bad hopefully. will look now for update.

regardless... now i want 6:19. this was run #1 on fresh xp install. win7 tuning ftw, dont fear the c8 guys, its not all that.

    1.775v dram timings as shown.

    *edit*

hard drive had good copy... must have corrupted transferring over usb. im thinking now 6:18 is doable with multi down bclk up

haha dude... its really not all that hard. tune the crap out in win7 (win7 will fail pi before xp) and then switch to benching xp... run my utility to setup the os peramaters, set maxmem and run ocxtweaker a specific way and viola decent results every time. start to finish including spi run was about 10min. that included formatting hd, partitioning it, installing xp, then waza then pi. i dont even tune maxmem. i set same value every time regardless of the platform.

i loves the pi... and to be honest... the ud5 feels just flat out fast as hell. im goinna switch to ud3 to see if its the same.

oh yea... RipjawsX F3-17000CL8D-4GBXMD BBSE Jan2011 Green PCB. 6:20 is OK.... but i think we can do alot better.

Seems Ivy just likes "bad" timings. I have screens of 9-11-11 and 10-12-12 being faster then 9-9-9 at 2200Mhz with BCLK/multis/volts/etc all the same.

@Trans am It is not because of the Hyper-IC itself these mems suck, it is because of Kingston - never had good mems by this manufacturer, the t1 kits I had were these worst hyper I ever owned, and I had several kits of them because I couldnīt believe it...

How many MHz can Ivy's IMC hit with Hyper? Good kits I would imagine do 2600 8-9-8/8-8-8/8-8-7 with LN2 on ram.
