    Asus DC2O vs DC2T

Does anyone know whats the difference between:

    GTX680-DC2O-2GD5
    and
    GTX680-DC2T-2GD5

is the OC clock only? they still share same parts, backplate, etc?
Can i just flash the DC2O with top DC2T bios?

They are the same, only higher clocks on the TOP. Maybe Asus are binning the TOP but nothing confirm this.

Thanks! Well i saw someone bought it from amazon, asking him to flash it with TOP bios and see whether it works.
Reason is the TOP is hardly available & priced too steep in my country whilst the OC is available at cheaper price.

    Wink

I just ordered 2 in stock GTX680-DC2T-2GD5s even though the respective webpage listed them as not currently in stock. I paid a premium and had to finagle to get the company to allocate me 2 units, instead of 1, but at least I'm finally getting them. They'll be getting future business from me. I gave up waiting for Newegg and their useless Auto Notify system.

I wish Asus had used the 2 slot varrient of the DUII sink on the 680. I would have gladly picked up 2 in that case. Its not like the 680 needs that much more thermal dissapation over the 670... ? 6 slots is a show stopper for any add in devices in the majority of cases.

No decent overclocker ever chooses a card by its default heatsink lol. Just bought one myselft, the non OC version, going under water now. Heatsink to trashcan.

If all you care about is benchmarking perhaps... its a bit condescending to assume everyone wants to run on water. Due to the cost, complexity and other things, its just not for everyone. And seriously, these DC2 models perform very well and don't make much noise at all. Water will perform better if done right but the cost to benifit ratio is getting smaller and smaller with the advent of better performing gpu heatinks and cases. Water hasn't really progressed much in the last few years and it costs as much as ever. ( and yes I've ran water loops on my last 3 machines so I'm not talking out of my butt :p )

I own two of the TOPs and was planning to put them under water. However, after running them stock in SLI I'm shocked how cool and quiet they run on air - even with the main one running ~5C hotter. I may just leave them on air.
