benching mem kit for Ivy and Z77

    Heya,

I just burned one of the Samsungs 30nm's while extreme benching.
(apparently this kit does nto like 1.85V+ for 3000MHz speeds ^)
On what *extreme benching* mem kit will you folks recommend on?

The memory will be used purely for benching nto for day to day usage.

This is the list of possible purchases.
out of the three, and considering OC'ing the mem kit itself, what will YOU go on, and why?

    Thanks.

Please, I really do need help and it is kind of urgent.

Not that it is costly or anything, but already lost 30 pounds of DICE waiting for a reply /

Buy the cheapest kit mate or hunt down some old RipjawsX for 2D benching on the Bay or such... for 3D it all doesn't matter much...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

well it depends as Leeghoofd has stated, depending if you want to bench 2D or 3D.

2D good BBSE seems to be the way to go, or PSC if you are willing to freeze the ram to get the mhz/timings that are needed, or you can go with a Samsung based IC or possibly a Hynix based IC kit and go for the opposite; high mhz with slack timings.

Pro was talking about this in the Xtreme bandwidth section check it out:

yea supposedly those tridentX are pretty good, or even the RipjawZ.

Why not buy another kit of those samsung? You seem to have shown a lot of good. better than anyone else in that thread.

I see people bench with PCS, but they don't seem go above like 2400 unless they freeze them.
