I read that you get 3,4,5,5 bins over the base clock of 3.4 for 4,3,2,1 cores loaded

The K gets 2,3,4,4 on a base clock of 3.5 so the end result is that they are both running the same clocks for the same load when stock

I believe you might get some xtra with some adjustment of bclk

pfm, My only worry when buying future 3770's would be the future resale value when the K will surely be more desirable and therefore I see people getting a better price than the difference one would pay when new

Between 78 and 84c. I had run at stock clocks for SCW and 2 days ago I wanted to see what the stock cooler could handle before deciding on third party cooler ( I just picked up a 212 EVO). I did the OC from Gigabyte Easytune6 and set vcore to 1.185v which reads 1.116v in cpuz.

HMMM.. Say it's 100W here in the USA on 120v..
Damned impressive.
Can someone here in the USA with a 3770K stick a kill-a-watt on it at defaults and also list your PSU and anything else that draws electrical attached?

The only thing on your list I left off was a cheapie Thermaltake 600w PSU.

I haven't seen anyone post stock power usage for a 3770K. Mine is a cardboard box build. 1 fan, the cpu heatsink fan. 1 HD. No optical drive. 1 USB wireless device. 56w idle and 118w 100% load. I got the Thermaright Silver Arrow tonight sooo... here is the data for a stock rig to date...
