    Question Someone GIVES you all this stuff... what do you do with it?

    * AMD Phenom II X4 830 (2.8ghz), 8GB DDR2 800 RAM, ATi Radeon HD3870X2 512MB, 500GB (2x500GB RAID1) HDD, X-Fi sound card
    * AMD E-350 (1.6ghz), 4GB DDR3 1066 RAM, ATi Radeon HD6310 384MB, 1TB HDD
    * Intel Atom D525 (1.8ghz), 4GB DDR2 800 RAM, 1TB (2x1TB RAID1) HDD
    * Intel Atom D425 (1.8ghz), 2GB DDR2 800 RAM, 160GB HDD
    * Xbox 360 w/ broken disc drive
    * AMD K6-II, 256MB SDRAM, ASUS GeForce 2 MX/MX 400, 10GB HDD, 56k modem (and free dial-up in my area! :P)

    * gigabit switch
    * 4 port KVM that does audio and all
    * wireless router

    * Sony Handycam
    * scanner

    * Operating systems don't really matter, as each came with a license of Windows 7 Ultimate. I can swap one or more out for something else. I'm competent with any major OS except Apple's Mac OS.

    What the HECK do I do with it all?
    EDIT: not looking to spend any money. I'm poor.

    The strongest newest low power rig with 2Gig becomes a powerful router/firewall if it has room for 2 Intel NIC's

    The rest..... well keep what is good for you and either sell the rest or pass it forward

    Give them to charity, keep the decent stuff for upgrading rigs. If the camera is HD i keep it, also i install my own copy of Windows on all systems, don't give a crap if MS thinks we should buy a license each time.

    Those small E-350/Atom machines would make nice home file servers. The E-350 is a mean HTPC too IMO.

    I would sell the 360 as is for cheap, if the disk drive is broken, it can be fixed, I know I would certainly be interested in fixing one as I currently do not own a 360.

    The Phenom II machine, I don't know what I would do with.
    Smile
