Asus HD 7950 DirectCU II OCP mod

The Asus HD 7950 DirectCU II uses the same vrm controller as the HD 7970, namely the CHiL CHL8228 VRM. Thus, I presume that the OCP mod for the 7950 DirectCU II is identical.

However, I have only seen two OCP mods, the one posted by Phil which cancels out the OCP for 5 phases, and the one by Hideo which cancels out the OCP for 6 phases. My question is wether the OCP mod by Hideo could be used to cancel the OCP of the 6 GPU phases of this non-reference 7950 DirectCU II. If this is not possible, can the OCP mod by Phil be altered to achieve this goal?
