Yeah I asked about this in another thread too, it looks like we might see some in about three weeks, maybe then prices will settle and we might see some interesting models arrive - such as 4GB, Lightning, Classified etc.

Looks like Nvidia dumped thier limited supplies of the 680 to stop the bleeding against the 7970 cards.

    Within two weeks would guess.

Was going for the 2 Gig card and now glad limited or no stock.

Can decide if the 4Gig card worth it as to cost and performance.
Nvidia keeps playing games and may just go for a good Non-Ref 7970.

I've seen cards available every now and then at newegg, microcenter, and even my local Frys. Everytime they do become available though, they sell out super fast because lots of people are on wait lists.

I got my GTX 680 4 days after the cards launch from dell.com

"When you see that trading is done,
not by consent, but by compulsion -
When you see that in order to produce,
you need permission from men who produce nothing -
When you see that money is flowing to those who deal,
not in goods, but in favors -
When you see that men get richer by graft and pull than by hard work,
and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you -
When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming self-sacrifice -
You may know your society is doomed."

I got my GTX 680 just 15 minutes after its launch, well i paid for it in that time, took two days to deliver ... now wishing I'd held out for the 4GB version!

    Its a great card.
