it took me about 20 hours to solo finish normal on my barbarian
explored every inch, and killed every single demon i saw (actually one treasure goblin escaped cause i didn't see it in time), and felt extremely badass!!

I'm in A2 nightmare at lvl 41 barbarian. My brother plays witch doctor at almost same pace and after comparing to him I'm having mixed feelings about class and item design. On one hand combat with barbarian is really barbarian style: I jump straight into the heat of battle and deal powerful blows left and right until only corpses are left. On the other hand, I'm putting all I can into vitality and strength and damage reduction skills and still that witch doctor with 1/4th of my vita and same intelligence as my str is similarly tanky. I wish barb felt just a little bit more tanky, I feel like not being rewarded for choosing to play barb. Or maybe that's what several months of playing League of Legends did to me

Barb needs health pot cooldown to be half the time it is or something for the amount of damage you take when in the fray..
All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
I found that revenge helps with barb in terms of healing. I generally only need pots when running into a deadly elite pack. I just ground stomp, frenzy, and use revenge. This is on nightmare. Probably need more pots on hell/inferno. I am hitting for 1.1k on normal hits and crits are double. Revenge usually crits in the 4.5k range. I use a 1-hand axe and a shield currently.
Overall, I like the game and the auction house makes it easy to find a high DPS weapon. I solo'd normal to do the story, but nightmare is more of a group thing since there is more exp . I think the level 60 cap is a bit low...

Watching my mate play demon hunter makes that class seem like easy mode. I'm on act 4 barbarian and although normal mobs are easy, and bosses are easy, heroic mobs are really hard. I'm liking all the customization you can do to your character. Boss loot drop is just silly though, i watch a video the other day of a group of people killing inferno diablo, and 3 blues dropped...

Yes, revenge is very good, sometimes even OP, but you can't rely on it always triggering... I'm running jump and warcry with health regen now - when it's getting hot i just jump away and wait for regen.
