i know i come off grump when i write so if i appear to be please take no offence.
I really really think they should make chillers just the blocks. As their highly successfully and their is Significantly less risk for Swiftech to make them because chillers dont get out dated by intels endless socket changes. Also the chillers have a far greater market than TEC water blocks for PC's. Chillers can be sold to any PC unrelated market they can even be used to generate electricity. So Swiftech can make 20,000 of them ( or what ever ) and know they will beable to sell them sooner or later and they wont have to discount them because they wont become obsolete over night by intel's or AMD's changes.
If swiftech wishes to further reduce risk to it's self it could sell the chiller blocks without TEC's this is because 100% of the TEC block returns and issues i've had were related to the TEC's dieing not the block's themselves.
TEC water blocks are a different story.
I would love to take up "TECing" offline with you Gabe if your willing
From the very beginning all i've tried to do is bring back the "TEC". It can and has been done by people in their garages it's just upto some company to bring it to market and make all the money

Waiting for your reply thanks Gabe for the results...if all go ok with ivy you will produce this block?

I do see some potential for lower TDP silicon, but it has to be verified first.
