Tried rom 0903 as well. it still shows the intel graphics in the device manager and i seem to be loosing video quite often, maybe once in 2-3 hours. I have turned multi monitor to disable in the bios, but am still able to see the additional graphics in the device manager. Anyway to turn this off? Thanks guys.

hi, I just got a P8Z77-V and updated to bios 1205 but now my ps/2 keyboard can't access bios, I keep pressing DEL and can't access the bios. Keyboard works fine inside windows.
I have read couple users have same issue too.

I and dernettemann tested several Ivys on a Maximus V Gene and we noticed a really strange behaviour.
Even after a reboot the vCCSA and vCCIO a set to 1,4v and vCore also. We tried several Bios versions and CPUs.

Is the insulation not good enough or is the problem anywhere else?

    Thanks guys!

Just thought I'd mention that my torture test of Prime95 blend failed at 12h:02m! (3770K @ 4500)
Unbelievable. That's a long time to wait for failure. One of the 8 workers stopped with a hardware failure.
So I bumped Vcore another .01.
Takes me to a Vcore of 1.3000 in bios with 1.344 under load due to LLC.
This particular CPU is a bit of a dog. 4600 MHZ is impossible at less than 1.4V. I don't know how people are getting stable 4500 at ~1.2V.

I'm guessing that my 32GB of G.Skill RAM at 2400 MHZ isn't making it any easier.

Yea, the ram will be a problem...
My badest ivy did 4500 on h2o with 1,23v under prime95. Just try the 1:11 Divider, and i think you will need much less vcore...

brillant und erstaunlich!! I just switched over to the 100:133 ratio. Makes perfect sense. No need to force the CPU to run the bus quite that fast.

Already got it down to 1.25 Vcore at 4500 on this 3770K. Prime stable for 5 minutes already. At 100:100 it would have crashed instantly. This is good! I suspect that I may be able to get Vcore down even farther. Overall stability will likely be improved as well.

    Thanks much.

Iam having a problem with the sound card and the P8Z77 WS i7 3770k, Win7 64bit.
The issue been a crackling sound with i play SC2 for example. The "sound" is like a distortion some times.
When i play two different sound sources ie the game and Winamp, i noticed that the game volume will get lower when winamp is playing a song. Stopping winamp the in game sound will come up to normal level. Duing this time i hear sounds "crackling" from time to time. This also happens when in simple idle mode (desktop environment).

I also experience lag, which it seems is consistent with the sound issue, ie "crackling sound then lag". This lasts for 1 or 2 seconds only. It is random ie start of game as well while in game with out having heavy CPU usage.

I have notice the same while playing MKV file or any large avi, or mov file. (files from a handheld video camera for example)

Disabling the on-board soundcard, and using a USB sound card from my steelseries headset, i do not have this issue.
Both game and winamp play with the same volume. No other sounds, while in desktop or while browsing the net.

Drivers have been removed and reinstalled few times.
No IRQ conflict has been detected.
    DirectX tests showed no issues.
All HW updates where implemented at the time.

    Any pointers welcome

You can press F8 repeatedly and select BIOS from the boot menu.

My Asus P8Z77-V Pro produce some errors in the windows event log. I believe it´s about the WLan.
Here is a Link with a screen shoot (yes I know its in German) but just to get an Idea.
Any advice, how to solve this?

I have a P8Z77-V Pro and I'm having one nasty problem.

I'm not able to save the boot options. The ssd is set to first but it doesn't start by it saying that I need to select a proper boot option...

Every time I boot I have to press F8... I don't have any idea of why this is happening.

It's all well set but in the end it just acts like if the dvd drive was set first...

I had that happen to me before with a different mobo. After removing the power from the psu for a while then clear cmos and it was good to go, maybe try that. My P8Z77-V Pro doesn't do it though.

    It's just strange...

Sometimes it boots in the right order and sometimes not.

Let me see if clear cmos helps.

Anyone with mouse problems in UEFI bios, on Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe, with the latest Bios?

My mouse (Roccat Kone+) doesn't work on any USB ports!

Already tried a usb Corsair mouse, and doesn't work too!

I'm having a problem with my new P8Z77-I Deluxe. I need some help.

External drive docks connected to the ports(on the backplane) aren't present at POST, in BIOS or Windows.

I have 2 ESATA docks from different manufacturers, multiple cables, drives etc. All hardware in question works on my DFI NF4-UD system as well as my laptop with any cable combination, so I know the hardware is sound. The drive docks work connected to my P8Z77-I Deluxe via USB. It's as though the ESATA ports arent connected to the controller at all.

My BIOS version is 0504 which I believe is the latest. I've looked for settings that might be the cause of this problem and so far have come up empty. IDE, AHCI, RAID makes no difference re detection.

I was really lookin forward to high speed ESATA transfers. I'm open to suggestions.

You'll have to tell me the exact make model and revision number of those docks. And also if you know the firmware version of the docks (if applicable), that may be required, too.

Contact the device vendor to find out about any FW versions and updates if it is applicable. I will forward the device numbers to HQ and see if they can replicate.

Do you have any suggestions for me to try troubleshooting it from this end in the meanwhile? BIOS settings etc...

    Edit:

Thermaltake says there is only one firmware version(the original) possible for the products I own. No hardware revisions either apparently.
