I just got in a 4x4GB kit of these from NewEgg for under $300 (used a 15% off coupon). They're double sided Hynix (xxxx2400). So far looks like they need to go over stock volts for 2800 C11 and they won't do 2400 C9 even with 1.70v.

Interesting to note that the Quad kit in OP has "2400" for the 5th-8th digits, but Dual kit is "1400" in the pic above. Wonder if that's a pattern?

My kit is 12422400 and has the GSK markings on the ICs, but I'm pretty sure they're CFR PBC.

I know a good IMC is required, but man does the Maximus V series make clocking memory easy.

To get 1300mhz on memory I had to drop to 2T. loosen secondary tertiary sub timings. Below SS is 250% memtest.
1333mhz fails to boot, I will try 1.65v+ again (dropping to 1.635v actually gave me more stability for 1300).

I don't know whether to increase VTT or VCCSA first?
My kit is 1400/x400 - Hynix.

edit: Forgot to try tRCD first... I'll try loosening that.

1.20 VCCSA / 1.15 VTT / 1.655 VDIMM for what i know Hynix does not take lots of advantage of more volts like samsungs ICs

try it and report back !

    Cheers !

    I tried 1.1vccsa (can only set 0.925v, 1.1, 1.2v on this mb) & 1.15vccio and up to 1.68vdimm.
Doesn't even POST. I think I will research some other memory settings on this mb and see what I can do as I think with what has been tried so far, it must be something else or limits met on IMC/mem prematurely (that's part of the game ). Some things I have left on Auto which I'm not sure what role they play such as MRC Fast etc.

Binned some of my best CFR sticks for a 2800C12 run at 1.65V.

And to think, I actually considered getting rid of these sticks because I was disappointed they won't do 9-11-10 at 2400

1.75V on the memory. All the timings are in the Mem Tweakit screenshot (note that I only set the four primary timings and the command rate, everything else was on auto).

Mine fail nearly instantly at 2800 1.675v but seem ok at 1.700v, what is a safe voltage for IMC for 24/7?

Edit: nup it crashed at 1.700v too, which voltages help ram stability?

Edit: 1.725v fails pretty quickly too, back to 2666 .....

I had similar problem on the beginning ..you have to bring down/balance your timings(Haswell) and see what they like (no other voltages were increased )

    Which timings mate?

I increased system agent (asus) and it seems to have helped.

    Looks like I didn't even need 1.75v. 1.65 is enough for 32M at DDR3-2933 12-14-14-35-2T.

    @aussie-revhead
the last few I would play with is tWR,tFAW <-secondary and tWRRD_dr,tWRRD_dd,tWRWR,tWRWR_dr,tWRWR_dd<-tertiary,so find what works without touching this first

P.S. this how I did go about tightening timings on this but if you trying validate high frequency loose timings and voltage will help
    EDIT; boot with XMP

I thought CFR couldn't do these timings at all! This isn't stable by any means, but I have a crapload of BFR that won't even BOOT 2400 9-11-10. This was with 1.80v BIOS set.

    Which week is that kit?
What sort of voltages can you get for 1333-1400-ish CL11?
