Ordered a pair, 110 USD was too tempting...
Now I just got to get either a DAC or the Xonar.... What say you, which would I be best off with?

I got the Xonar STX for my M50's even though they dont really need to be amped. I love it so much because it has a built in amp to drive higher Ohm headphones and the sound is just amazing. Just my two cents.

I really like the way the D2000 sounds. However I had to switch to a different headphone because of the common D2000 frame/headband failure. I think the D5000 and D7000 also use that same frame.

AD1100s - Need to be EQ'd to ge the best out of them. Nice power handling BUT and here is a BIG BUT they arms that hold the headphones are very weak and crack FAR too easily. Mine started cracking within two weeks and failed within a month and a half. Still need to ship them off to be repaired.

Check out Ultrasone or the M-Audio Q40, supposed to be nice budget basshead phones.
