    Marks on RAM connectors

Running Patriot Sector 5 ram. I have some marks on the copper connectors of my RAM yet they run stable at 1800 8-8-8-24. They were bought second hand and I know I didnt do it so I dont know what happened but it looks like they are burns. In fact, it looks like the copper has a hole in it from getting gouged or a very high current/surge.

Below is a pic but its not too good. Ive been experiencing GPU driver crashes outlined here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...Driver-Crashes. Can this be caused by a memory issue, more specifically the below stick of ram?

No, its a gouge INTO the copper connectors. Almost like a power surge burned/blew a hole through the copper. Its plastic inside the holes.

Well, to answer my own question, yes. This was the cause of my headaches for the last 4 months...
