It’s about time to post new pictures as I promised 3 days ago.

Next stage of the worklog is to make channels inside the plexi and on the aluminium plates so the fan can “breathe”.

If you look closely you will notice that the channels on the top and the bottom aluminium plates are with different size. That’s made on purpose.

So, after all the details were finished it was time to check how all things looks together.

The thing I saw made me think that I will have to upgrade the lights because all those holes make the light unstable.

This is for now, more updates on the way.

Anyway I've reached a point where I need help from you guys.
I wonder where to place a small text that will be cut on the aluminium plate with laser and will be glowing.

I've got a small sticker that I used to point where this text will be cut in the aluminium.
Please vote where you like it the most because I cannot decide by myself.

    Option 1:

    Option 2:

    Option 3:

    Option 4:

P.s. I am sorry but I have no idea how to create a real poll so I made it like this

Few days ago the company called A-data decided to sponsor my build by sponsoring me with a 64GB ssd drive and a SODIMM 2x4GB kit.

    Thanks ADATA

Lets not forget the other sponsors too...

While I am waiting for the guys from the workshop with the laser to cut the text in one of the aluminium plates, I’ve decided to install the sponsored ADATA SSD and SODIMM memories and try how the mod will work.

First was the SSD. I had to disassemble the whole mod just to install the drive.

    Next were the SODIMMS:

After I was done with reassembling the mod I was like – SSD + 8GB memory, I should install Windows and check how the machine performs. And since I don’t have DVD pre-installed and probably not enough power to use one, I had to improvise and use the DVD from my PC by powering it with the Cooler Master Silent Pro 600 and connect the sata cable to the Black and White.

It was a huge mess but the result was satisfying.

A week ago, my friend Mr3D aka Daniel made me a huge favour to draw me a scheme so I can go to a workshop with a laser and get a text cut inside one of the aluminium plates.
    So here is the result:

Ok seems I will have to think how to improve the light because it's spreading horizontally inside the acrylic plate but almost not vertically:

And I want to say again: Thanks Daniel for the awesome work and your help!

About a week ago, I sent all of the aluminium parts I have done for painting. The paint is black matt and I hope you like the result:

After I picked all of the parts they look like this:

I was soo excited so I started to assemble the mod asap.

Of course I had to start from the bottom:

    Second layer installed

    With motherboard and sodimms installed:

All parts together. Looks nice ?

So, let’s check how it looks with all lights on:

And of course some pictures in the dark:

Now is time to thank my sponsors again:

Ok guys, the time has come to finally announce Project Black and White as finished.
I am attaching the final pictures with a small description.

    Enjoy!

Description: Project Black and White is a small, stylish and theme based project for a slim case/stand based on mini ITX motherboard with as few as possible peripheral devices.

Now is time to thank my sponsors again:

Looking at the work in the thread i was impressed. But looking at the metal in pretty much all the posts, i couldnt help thinking it was sloppy with all the scratches. Then i get to the end, and i see the paint job, and my jaw dropped. This looks great!
