Question about how threads with large # of pages is displayed

On many threads that have large number of pages I sometimes find it difficult to select that last page because of the Deleted Post and Attachment Icons position.

Then I saw this one today that had the page # icons all at the bottom and went... hey I don't recall seeing that before, would be nice if all were like that.

I am not sure how all that is coded or why the two threads display different here.

The picture I show is just an example I saw today.
See the first post and how that is displayed, then compare to the last one.

Sorry if this has been brought up before, I just noticed the two different ways today, I know I am slow

Yeah I have noticed that. I typically just select one of the pages and then select last page when I get into the thread.

Yeah I do the same, but then I saw that one and wondered if all could be done like that.

    HAHA

    Screen is a 24" Dell 2407WFP so I am running at 1920x1200.

I could run IE in full screen mode I guess, but so often the left and right side of pages is just wasted space, plus I run other stuff so I like to be able to click out on the desktop often.

It was just a sugestion about something I noticed was all.
