    G.Skill RipJawsZ F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD Help

I just got my SB-E rig together and can't get my system stable at stock or overclocked due to Blue Screen Memory Management errors BSOD Codes 24 and 50.

    System

    Rampage IV Gene Bios 1103
    3930K
    G.Skill F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD
    (2) 560GTX Ti SLI
    Corsair AX1200
    OCZ Vertex 3 120GB
EK Supreme HF Nickel ~ EK 360 Rad ~ D5 Pump

I have the CPU at stock, memory at 2400Mhz, vdimm 1.65v, vccsa at 1.2v (tried up to 1.3v) and timings of 11-11-11-31-2T but get memory management blue screen either at windows load or shortly after loading into windows.

I tried loading the Hynix tight memory profile and hard set main timings to 11-11-11-31-2T and vccsa at 1.3v and can run Prime95 for about an hour now before blue screen.

Is there any settings I should be setting differently? I read a Rampage IV Extreme overclock guide that said if you get blue screen memory management then raise vccsa but should I need to go above 1.30v to get my memory stable at 2400Mhz?

Any help is greatly appreciated as I cant find a dedicated Rampage IV Gene thread so going off Rampage IV Extreme settings. Thanks

Although most CPU's should be capable of 1200mhz memory it could be the IMC. Below the settings i used with the same set on my R4E for 12x32M Hyperpi, i hope it helps Did you try to change vtt, it wil most likely help more then vccsa.

I tried 1.2v vtt but didn't go any higher than that. I will try to up VTT a little more and see how that goes and report back. Thanks

I reset my Board to default settings. Then I set vtt and vccsa to 1.2v, loaded the Hynix 4x4GB tight profile, set memory to 2400Mhz and passed HyperPI 12x32 no problem. I think it was the auto memory sub timings that were causing the issues. After loading the Hynix 4x4gb tight profile and reseting mb to default I have no issues. Working on CPU stability now. Thanks

Does your motherboard have "Rampage Tweak" in bios (DRAM Timing control)?

Don't forget to set [Mode 1], like in this tutorial: https://docs.google.com/document/pub...0OU5VPe6CUoFso

    I can reach 2500 cas11 @ 1.68v, but cas9 with this kit I've never did.

    R4E bios 0018. Tried 1202 also.

I believe I have a bad kit, thinking about ordering another one.

Too bad I sold that wonderfull Geil EVO 2400 C9 Hynix BFR, just because of the color.

no you don't need 1.30 if you are not stable, watercooled CPU 1.30 is high, can you boot if you set 1.20 or lower? did you tried 147 tRFC ?

Yes, I'm using XMP profile (2400 11-11-11-31-2T) with 1.15v VCCSA and VTT 24/7 without problems.

Yes, I also tried 147 tRFC C9, no boot, stopped in many different codes.

Sometimes stuck in "31", sometimes a strange "Od", most of the times stops in "01".

    Beginning to assume first option.

Thank you all for the reply.

After a few days, having lots of freezes and BSOD's in my system.

Enter the BIOS, set everything AUTO, XMP profile, mobo set this crazy high voltages:

Looking fine....but............... no way it can go C9, still same codes, "01" and "0d".

Tried up to 1.70v (with same settings above) for 9-11-10-28-1T-147.

Thinking about a RMA process with MemoryC.

I will receive another same kit next week and test it. I'll let you know if I need more help.

    Thank you.
