The 8150 was a bit disappointing but the X6 didn't turn out too bad!
There's a bit more in that X6...I can't say the same for the 8150. More voltage (I tried up to 2.03v) didn't help things and the IMC is piss poor. I spent ~5L LN2 trying to get it boot above DDR3-2060... Then later in the run the board got stuck on CPU LED like it was dead...but would start after reboot with "Overclocking Failed" no matter what kind of settings I tried. Eventually I tried to clear CMOS and it worked out.

seems you had fun beep... keep them scores rolling in...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I still have an HD4850 here to bench. If not with LN2 it will be with the 1100T on DICE next weekend.

    Thanks guys

why do you put just 3400mhz ''spi 1mb'' on cpu/nb and wprime 3800mhz ????
    spi1mb could't do 3800mhz ? what about cpu/nb voltage for 3800mhz ?

    thanks

Well, I had some major bugs...first off, 31.5 was max multiplier, then for half an hour I couldn't get the system to post other than default settings...
Then I had some issues with certain NB multi and ram dividers...for the first full hour of benching I couldn't get ram past 2120. I was low on LN2 by the time I started benching with BD (~15-20L from 50) and I had a lot I wanted to get done. Unfortunately I didn't get everything done, or benched the way I wanted to.

CPU-NB for 3800 MHz was 1.53v. The CPUNB is pretty strong on this chip, I can run 2600 24/7 with 1.29v on water.

This chip is extremely balanced (can probably do 6.9 in wPrime) however it has absolutely NO standout cores. Of course, FX has a very large window between fully stable and bench stable, and very small between bench and suicide.

My CPU can barely do 4.7 GHz stable on water with 1.46v, but bench with same voltage up to 5 GHz.

Your 8120 looks really strong. I only have this dewar until the 21st though, then I have to give it back to I.M.O.G @ overclockers.com.
This summer though, probably around July, I intend on buying my own.

I don't mind doing a bench session together in the future, but we are on different HWBOT teams ...I guess we will figure something out.

No, unfortunately I'm thinking of getting the dewar refilled and taking a swing at 1100T again.

My 1100T is rather bad on air/water compared to good chips...1.45v for 4 GHz stable, 4.1 GHz isn't really possible. 3D benching on water @ 4.3 GHz takes 1.63v and SuperPi 32M on my best core (one used for validation) does exactly 4496 @ 1.62v. Max cinebench/wPrime is ~4.2-4.3...etc. on DICE it didn't do so well either.

I was pleasantly surprised on LN2

    Nice Thuban there, Beep!
Sure, I can match that with mine and it's not the greatest one, but it's very decent.
You could try higher cpu-nb for SPi next time. My 1090T does 4700 - 4800 with ~1.5V
Probably you can get at least 4.4 - 4.5GHz.

You're now eager to finish as much benchmarks as possible in one session, but soon enough you'll go into the efficiency realm and put more effort in a single score.
Keep the good work and spirit!

You now know from experience that one chip being great on water/air doesn't mean it's good for LN2 and vise versa.

I have more then the 8120. I have stuff from just about every platform to play with. If you ever want to swing by we can at least do some DICE runs.

I think 4.3-4.4 will probably be the limit on this one, I couldn't even post 4.5 @ 1.5v CPUNB.

Did that actually help you with memory clock? I tried up to 1.6v but didn't gain anything. I did 1330 MHz with 1.35v CPUNB on water at normal temperatures, 1332.5 on LN2 with 1.55v
