Really nice card for the price. P7500 isn't that above a stock GTX580?

The stock voltage of the HD7870 seems to be 1.25V (looking at the MSI and Asus review from Techpowerup), and both hit ~1250mhz. Could you try max OC with more volts? Maybe there is headroom left with 1.35v :P

I belive theres plenty left, but since GPU tweak only allowes 1225mv on that card, i can not add more. AB beta15 does not support HD7850 yet. At least not my card. Trixx doesnt as well. I belive i can bench 1300mhz on 1.3v. Just need some tool for voltage increase.
Sapphire card cooling is also awesome. I can play hours on 1.225v 1220/6100 with fans on auto and it doesnt even hit 70C and stays rather quiet. This card just doesnt generate any heat!

Indeed 3DM11 score is well above GTX580 stock. Its around 950/1100 on GTX580 which scores the same on P.

BTW. If someone has Asus HD7850 DC2 bios. Please give me link for it. Perhaps it allowes more voltage. I would also like to have some vgpu and vmem hardmode pics, if anyone knows any.

    Thanks!

Where the hell are all the OC-d 7850 crossfire reviews i wonder ? im trying to decide between selling my 7850 and upgrading to 7970 or 680 now or i could add a second 7850 for crossfire and OC both to 1200/6000
Anyone with 2 cards could run some benches maybe ? Cheers.

Seems that the reviewers of the 7800 series cards were not interested in any Crossfire, NOR any Eyefinity-Crossfire reviews... Not to mention with the price drops on the 79 series now, why not spend the extra $20-40 on a 7950 with a extra gb of Vram???

Still it would be nice to see what these little things are cappable of, considering they OC like beasts 1200/6000 doesnt seem to be a problem 2 of em on that clock should rip things up nicely i imagine but theres like not a single review out there, well theres is one in youtube but it only has the cards on default.

Just got a his 7770 to play with. Clocks to 1100core 1400 ram. Need more volts on the gpu! Debating whether to try a waterblock on the core or not. Worried about losing the ram cooling provided by the fan. Sweet card love the low power usage.

Just got 2 Asus DirectCU II 7870s. One's an average clocker, 1200/1450 @ 1.25v. The other hits 1300/1450 @ 1.25v, 100% stable. I'm sure 1350 is doable with better cooling, I haven't really upped voltage too far. I'm surprised 1.25v is stock VID for these 28nm chips...

    i currently have a 6870 and game at 1920x1200

    thinking about a 7850 or 7870

ive heard XFX 7850 OC very nicely, particularly this one with the full 7870 PCB

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150609

someone in the reviews OC'd it to 1200gpu/1500mem with voltage tweak

or is it worth it to get the 7870 for the xtra streaming processors?

with new price cuts they are getting to be very close in price.

Anyone having issues with grey screen lockups when OCing their 7870? I'm getting this running 12.8 trying to OC my Sapphire HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB. Even a measly 1100/1300 OC try results in grey screens. Sound like a driver issue or card issue?
