Msi 680 gtx twin frozr gaming review

It's about 2 weeks I have this beast on my hands and because somebody else already explored the OC capability, i decided to go deep with a "kind of" normal gaming use review.
To start would like to show some pics to keep your eyes over the attention and cure on the details which MSI put no this 680:

this is obviously a reference design PCB for a GTX 680, but the custom cooler is another story compared to the original one. 5 heatpipes coupled with 2 fans have no problem to dissipate the heat even under heavy load. Thanks to the twin frozr cooler I never saw the temperature pass 58 °C even during overclocked sessions.
Besides the cooler, I was told from MSI rep. that the components used were binned like they usually do for the military series.

The test-bed I used to run my tests is the follow:

    Mobo: MSI Z77 GD65
    Cpu: 2600k @ 4500MHz
    Cpu cooler: CORSAIR H100
    Memory: 4X2Gb CORSAIR GTX8 @ 2133 9-11-9-28 1T
    Power Supply: CORSAIR AX1200

Whit this configuration I run 2 full session of tests in default and fully-stable overclocked configuration:

    Defult: gpu 1059/mem 1502/boost 1124
    Overclocked: gpu 1170/mem 1750/boost 1235

After the typical benching tests let's see how this baby run in the gaming test:

Once I finished the gaming test (wile I never saw the temps pass 58 °C) I decided to push little more the vga, so I needed to hard-mod the Twin Frozr 680:

On the previus images you can see Vgpu and power limit bypass (thanks to Shamino) .
Still with stock cooling I pushed the voltage to actual 1,35 with a max gpu temperature of 62 °C the benchmarking result was the follow:
