LF audio store in NYC with good prices

Heya all!

Well, as the title says I'm in a search for a nice audio store in NYC with good prices. Would be good to be head-fi oriented and to have a website so I can check the inventory. I just recently got interested in audio world and I'm looking to get some gear.

Prices are looking good in US compared to Europe so I was gonna ask a friend of mine to get me some headphones/headamp/dac from there, only one of those as budget is limited. He's living in NYC but ain't an audiophile and has no clue where to look for or what or at what price... so just wanted a bit help from your resident's side in this search.

EDIT: So far I found only one http://www.jr.com/ store that has a few desktop/portable headphone amps only from FiiO... Anything better regarding headphone amps and DACs? Where?
